World leader in outsourcing customer support services starts operation in Braga

Webhelp, a world leader in outsourcing customer support services, will open an operation in the city of Braga this month, with an investment of about 1.5 million euros.

The French multinational aims to finish the year 2018 with 150 jobs created, starting with a team of 80 people. The company also plans to increase the number of employees to 300 by the end of 2019.

For the opening of this new office, Webhelp Portugal had the support of InvestBraga and Braga City Council. "Webhelp Portugal is pleased to open this new production centre in Braga. The welcome we received from the Mayor and his team has been fantastic. This support has allowed us to establish ourselves with great ease. InvestBraga has also been a great help and continues to be so. We are proud to be able to participate in the economic development of such a dynamic city, where we intend to create 300 jobs in just two years. All in line with our development plan for Portugal, where we have great ambitions", explains Benoist Voidie, director of Webhelp Braga.

InvestBraga also welcomes the fact that Webhelp has chosen the city of Braga to open its new operation. Webhelp already has about 1000 employees in Portugal and 35 000 worldwide. For the launch, Webhelp has already started several recruitment processes for the existing vacancies.
